Exclusive Use
At Ashdown Park, we have a number of options for those meetings and events that require a little more privacy and exclusivity. Our Richard Towneley Suite is one of the most unique and impressive conference venues in the South East. Spectacular stained glass windows, designed by famous 19th-century Irish stained glass artist Harry Clarke, create shimmering shafts of light. Complete with the original organ, bells, and a vaulted timber ceiling, it creates a magnificent setting for any event, a special occasion to celebrate, maybe a family gathering, birthday, anniversary, a client dinner, or simply a get-together with friends. The Suite comprises two large conference and banqueting suites catering for up to 250 people seated for dinner over two floors (Harry Clarke room & John Hayward room). There are six syndicate rooms comprising a semi-circular lounge, cloakrooms, bar, office and reception, all self-contained and available for private use. From finger buffets to set menus, we offer a range of catering options, or if you prefer our Chef is on hand to suggest themed menus for you. We can also organize entertainment nights as well, to match the style or subject of your event.
